If you’re a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and you write your own songs, why not enter the Home Composed Song Contest 2025, which takes place this autumn, in its 34th year? It is open to musicians from across Europe, from those who make music at home in their bedroom to those who are aiming for a full time career in the music industry, though the contest isn’t open to full time professionals – if you are making your living in the music industry then encourage you to go for Eurovision itself. instead!
The competition has a rich history – in fact we believe that it is the longest running pan-European song contest after Eurovision itself.
Musical Eurovision fans from across Europe compete with audio recordings of their own original songs, as well as forming the juries who will choose the winner, in true Eurovision style. The grand final will take place online on Saturday 30 November 2025.
The songs will be presented online during September and October, followed by a voting period during which there will be plenty of opportunity to promote your song. Do consider joining the dedicated Home Composed Song Contest Facebook group where you can meet other contestants from this year as well as previous editions.
Best of luck to everyone around Europe – get writing and recording your entry for the Home Composed Song Contest – Home ’25.
If you are interested in taking part in this year’s competition please check the rules page, download the entry form and get writing, singing, recording and producing. Your song could be the winner of the 34th Home Composed Song Contest.
